GET TO KNOW ME
Jillian’s goal is to help you uncover joy and freedom of movement through your yoga practice. Her fascination with movement traces back to her experience as a competitive figure skater and avid runner. She began practicing yoga as a graduate student studying Good and Wine Chemistry in upstate New York, and continues to apply her analytical mind her yoga practice- she approaches asana as a “research” method to illuminate the intelligence and intuition of the body. Jillian teaches from a deep personal practice that draws on the traditions of Mysore-style Ashtanga and the Bikram/Ghosh series. Outside of practice and teaching, she enjoys doing partner acrobatics, playing the piano, and spending time at the beach.
