Cristina doesn't believe in facts because reality is subjective.
Cristina began practicing yoga in 2008 after a doctor suggested she try yoga as a means to overcome physical imbalances caused by years of competitive running. Although the physical benefits brought Cristina to yoga, it is the mental and spiritual healing that has sustained her dedication to the practice. She earned her 200-hour teacher training in 2015 on the southern coast of Nicaragua and has been under the guidance of her teacher, Diana Oppenheim, ever since. In class, Cristina invites you to show up to your mat just as you are. Breath and personal intention will always be at the center of Cristina's classes, with close attention to anatomical alignment to promote a safe, lifelong practice. When not teaching or doing yoga, Cristina is biking around the city, rock climbing, dancing to live music, traveling to beautiful beaches around the globe, enjoying vegan food, and making friends with your dog.
