Indoor Cycling |
| About Me |
Having weak knees and years of playing sports, Nan was prone to injuries. Doctors told her that swimming or cycling would have the least detrimental impact, so in 2008, she started going to indoor cycling classes at Crunch & New York Sports Club -- and quickly fell in love. As of 2014 Nan left her corporate job to continue to pursue her love of making a difference with people through movement! If the body is a vehicle of expression, why not make it move better? Nan knows that it takes something to use up 45 minutes of your time for class, and as spinning instructor, she will make sure to maximize that time together, ensuring a fun, sweat dripping, high-energy workout -- without the pain. Let's ride! |

About Me: |
Growing up playing competitive soccer, softball, and volleyball, Jenna has a tendency to love all things related to strengthening and conditioning the body. She came to Yoga in 2007 while searching for a natural way to heal a back injury. Years later, Yoga has integrated into all aspects of her life. “Yoga has taught me so many things about myself that I needed to discover in order to live a more authentic and full life. It has shown me the depth of my inner strength, my capacity for forgiveness, and my expansive ability to give and receive gratitude. Yoga gives life a deeper meaning for me. And let’s be real, it also relieves a tremendous amount of stress while toning the body.” Jenna’s style of teaching is one that focuses on a flow that gradually opens the body up while maintaining proper alignment. She encourages students to “find their edge” but also to be mindful in keeping their inner balance and peace that yoga provides. |

| About Me |
It all began for me at the age or nine when I started kicking balls and dancing my life into fitness. Fitness became a way of life for me when I was sixteen after I suffered a neck injury from dancing. Using weight training as a way to rehabilitate myself, I quickly fell in love with it. At 19, I began my journey with fitness as a career when I moved to Seattle, Washington. There I completed a Sports Science and Human Performance program at the University of Washington while I also worked at X-Gym. All right, time for me to shut up and it's time for you to come and start your WERKout! As I always say, "Shut up and WERKout!" |

| About Me | I was brought to Yoga seven years ago while working in the corporate world. At that time I did not know it, but I was looking for something to give my life purpose and to reduce my stress levels. I found this outlet through Yoga and have been practicing ever since. I studied for my 200 hour certification through Yoga Garden of SF, where I focused on alignment and delivering a complete class; both mentally and physically. I see life as an adventure and strive to push myself to facilitate growth and change in my own life and others on a daily basis. I am an avid traveler, athlete, reader and student of philosophy and religion. When I am not teaching Yoga, you can find me working in the non-profit world, lecturing about health and wellness, at the gym or laying outside in the sun. |

| About Me |
I am a life long artist who discovered my love of cycling while living and teaching in Korea. It became a passion and my favorite pastime for several years. I began to realized the valuable mental clarity and physical benefits cycling had on the body. After moving to the Bay Area and riding the diverse terrain, I began to focus more on endurance and speed to build for long trips exploring the west coast. When the weather got cold, or my schedule didn't permit me to spend hours in nature, I started taking spin classes. It was then that I realized indoor cycling was not only fun, but could be a more effective workout within the short timeframe. It truly helped build my endurance and strength faster than my outdoor training, which improved my overall performance. From then I was hooked. I have experience teaching both Art and English for the past 5 years, and it only felt natural to become certified in spin and begin sharing the wonderful training and benefits with others. I believe life should only be spent doing only what you love, which is why cycling has become such a big part of it. I love being able to share what has improved my life over the years, both mentally and physically. I hope that everyone can experience the positive benefits of indoor cycling!

Athletic Yoga |
|
About Me: |
Molly grew up a competitive athlete, and when her coach tried to introduce her to the benefits of training the mind as well as the body, she thought it was hogwash. It wasn’t until years later, when she took her first yoga class, that she wished she hadn’t disregarded it so fast. After that class, food tasted better, the air smelled better, and she felt more in tune with her body than she had during any intensive training session. She embarked on an intensive power yoga practice that brought flexibility and strength in her body and her mind. After too many years of self-doubt and criticism, her yoga practice has helped her find acceptance for who she is. She wants to help others find the same freedom from finding peace with who they are. ? You can expect her classes to be a fun and funky combination of strength building postures, inversions, arm balances, restorative stretches and the freshest tunes. |

| About Me |
Alison is a native New Yorker who made her way to San Francisco after graduating from the University of Miami. She grew up dancing and swimming competitively until knee injuries forced her out of the dancing world, leaving her searching for the next best pool. While flying the friendly skies as a flight attendant for a major US airline, she began seeking out a healthier lifestyle with guidance from a personal trainer and fell in love with resistance training and group fitness. After becoming a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, she began rehabbing her knee using TRX and went on a quest to take every group fitness class she could get her butt into on layovers. After training her colleagues both domestically and internationally, she realized it was time to hang up her wings for good and pursue her dream of starting her own fitness business; hence, Goldilocks Training was born. You can usually find her playing with her TRX, rock climbing, swimming, throwing weights around, training for the next mud run, or trying out a new class in San Francisco. With her quirky sense of humor and diverse background, her classes prove to be both challenging and fun. Bring an open mind and a sense of humor and she promises to leave you sweaty and smiling! |
