The Four Seasons Embarcadero hotel is a luxurious hotel that is well known for its amazing cityscape views of San Francisco. What’s a better way to experience the hotel and its views than a yoga class on it’s balcony overlooking the historic Transamerica building, city skyline, and even Alcatraz Island on a crystal clear day.
When you arrive at the hotel you’ll be greeted by the hotel’s amazing staff who will help direct you to your outdoor yoga class. The balcony will be set up with a manduka yoga mats and blocks so there’s no need to lug your own equipment downtown. Embrace the cool San Francisco air and be sure to bring a warm sweater for the notorious cool weather the city is known for year round.
Once you check-in with your Wheel House instructor settle into a mat and take in the views as the rest of the class settles in. Once the rest of your peers arrive your instructor will guide the class through some salutations and encourage you to let go of all your stressors that you’ve carried throughout the day or week, before moving you into powerful flows. As your go through every sequence you’ll be reminded to enjoy your present which you’ll definitely appreciate with the unique and stunning location.
After class take a moment to reflect on all your accomplishments. Every step you took led you to this moment overlooking the breathtaking San Francisco views. You’ll feel refreshed and grateful for not only the class but the journey you’re on.
Experience Yoga on the Overlook at the Four Seasons Embarcadero and take in views you can’t enjoy anywhere else. This class is a unique way to practice yoga and connect with your mind and body. We highly recommend this class for tourists and San Francisco natives alike.
Yoga on the Overlook is usually scheduled for Wednesdays at 5:15pm and Saturdays at 9:30am. If the weather isn’t ideal for yoga outdoors, we’ll relocate the class to our studio at One Embarcadero Center only a few blocks away. Our class capacity for Yoga on the Overlook is much smaller than our normal yoga class, so be sure to book in advance so you’re sure to have a spot.
